The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority is working in cooperation with its partners in the hospitality sector and government agencies to prepare to receive visitors to the emirate safely in the wake of the gradual easing of restrictions and the opening of swimming pools and beaches of hotels to visitors.


In order to preserve the health and safety of visitors and employees alike, the Authority continues to work with its hotel partners to ensure that it is in full compliance with government and health directives and is in compliance with all social divergence guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and federal bodies in the United Arab Emirates.


The preventive measures applied in the hospitality sector in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah currently include checking all hotel employees to detect the "Covid 19" epidemic. Providing gags and gloves to all visitors; Allocating separate entrances and exits for visitors and employees and mandatory daily temperature measurement on all entrances upon arrival. Moreover, the inspectors of the commission will conduct daily field trips to ensure that hotels adhere to the precautionary measures, in addition to providing support from government bodies to assist hotels in implementing the protocols specifically designed to maintain the safety of visitors.


In order to enhance the confidence of visitors during their stay, the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority is closely coordinating with the General Services Department in the emirate to supervise the process of implementing the certification program "Stay Safe" for Ras Al Khaimah hotels, as obtaining accreditation by the relevant authorities requires hotels to apply to a detailed group of Preventive measures and measures. The certificate includes an evaluation of all procedures applied in all areas within Ras Al Khaimah hotels, including the reception lounge, concierge service, guest rooms, restrooms, restaurants, swimming pools, beaches, health clubs, kids clubs and retail stores. Guidance is also provided on visitor transportation mechanisms, use of meeting and event rooms, as well as in housekeeping, laundry and waste management services.


The large areas within the hotel facilities in the emirate will contribute to the promotion of social divergence practices, and the hotels have expanded the range of catering services in the rooms in support of these extremely important practices.
