Abu Dhabi University launched a pioneering initiative at the state level, in which it called for citizenship families - whose financial circumstances may prevent the university from completing university studies for their children - to contact them to obtain a comprehensive scholarship to study one of the undergraduate programs.
The university confirmed that it is looking forward to sponsoring a group of citizen students, who face financial conditions that may hinder them from continuing their academic career, and their educational achievement in the bachelor's degree, as the university will provide support and assistance by covering the costs of their university studies, within the bachelor's programs offered by its branches in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The scholarship includes the number of accredited specialization hours, taking into account the academic conditions for maintaining the scholarship, and the scholarship also applies to national students who are currently enrolled in the university, in the first and second years only, with a cumulative average of no less than 2.5.
The Executive Director of Community Relations at Abu Dhabi University, Salem Mubarak Al Dhaheri, stressed the university's pride in launching this initiative, while together we face the global pandemic (Corvid-19), as the initiative aims to provide scholarships for our sons and daughters, male and female, to ensure the continuity of their academic experience Without interruption, and graduating a generation capable of carrying the banner of achievement in the labor market, pointing out that the initiative translates an original axis in the mission of Abu Dhabi University in spreading knowledge and knowledge, and providing pioneering programs for financial assistance and scholarships at the level of the state and the Arab world. Interest in a university building case on family income and monthly expenses set out, in collaboration with the Zakat Fund, after the student submits papers that prove the existence of financial conditions prevent the completion of education ».
