The Federal Court sentenced to life imprisonment the right of a female barber and a man and his fiancé from an Arab country, for possession of drugs and psychotropic substances, after the first was seized while trying to sell a quantity of hashish to a source with the Dubai Police, and the woman convicted of bringing drugs from her country and approved her fiancé (the second defendant) promised Marriage and employment in the state.

The court also sentenced the three defendants to two years imprisonment for abuse, while a fourth accused was acquitted in the same case.

A witness from the General Department of Narcotics Control, in Dubai Police, said that information had been received by the Department regarding the intention of the first defendant (a female barber) to sell drugs in Al-Muraqqabat area, to one of the secret sources of the police, so the information was verified, permission was issued from the Public Prosecution, and an ambush was prepared for the accused .

After a joint conversation between the accused and the police source, he was asked to give him minutes to bring drugs from the second suspect who was seen in the same place, then he returned to the source and sold drugs, and he obtained from him 2000 dirhams, so the work team surrounded him and was arrested, and the second defendant was caught.

The witness added that, by asking the second defendant, he admitted that he had brought the drug of hashish from a third suspect in the case, and gave him to the first accused to sell it for 800 dirhams, so the latter sold him to the police source for 2000 dirhams.

He pointed out that he had another quantity of drugs in his residence in the emirate of Ajman, so the team moved there, and the accused, the second fiancé's fiancé, was seen in front of the building in an abnormal condition, and she was stuttering to speak.

And by asking her, she admitted to using cannabis and tramadol, so she was kept in custody and searched the housing, found 26 tramadol tablets, and a piece of hashish, in addition to a tablet in the suspect's bag, which decided to bring cannabis and tramadol from her country in a candy box for the benefit of the second and third defendants, to promote them to the abusers, and arrested the last accused While leaving the country.

For her part, the defense attorney for the last defendant, lawyer Ruqaya Muhammad, confirmed that her client had no role in the drug receiving and delivery operations, which were under police consideration, as was the result of a negative urine sample testimonial, confirming his lack of use, in addition to that he had seized During his departure from the country after the end of his visit visa, according to which he came to search for work, as he does not know of the accused except the second, and he coincidentally met him for two years and knew that they reside in the same region in their country, considering that the charge assigned to him is incomplete.

For its part, the court stated in the merits of the ruling that the first defendant (Al-Hallaq) retracted his confessions, and stated that he brought the drug of hashish from the second defendant in order to assist the secret source of the police, but did not charge for it, pointing out that it is only an attempt to reduce his crime, hoping to Reducing his sentence, which reassures the court that he is in possession of the drug he was seized with for the purpose of trafficking. She pointed out that the second defendant also attempted to evade his crime, claiming that he was merely a drug carrier from the last defendant to the first, and he did so as a way of help, but the court is satisfied that he committed the crime of drug trafficking with full staff.

As for the accused, she did not change her statements, and she confirmed that she brought drugs from her country for the benefit of the accused: the second (who promised her to work and marry her), and the third.

The court sentenced to life imprisonment for the first and second defendants and the woman, while the last defendant was acquitted for lack of evidence.
