A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, revealed, on Tuesday, that 2520 new cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the cases of recovery to 15,257, and 1911 new cases of the virus were recorded.
The ministry also announced the death of 9 new cases in Koruna, taking the total deaths to 264.
On Monday, Saudi Arabia witnessed 1966 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, distributed in various cities and regions, indicating that only 0.6% of the epidemic deaths.
Riyadh recorded 520 injuries, Mecca 343, Medina 257, and Jeddah 236.
And Al-Ali warned in a press conference Monday about the developments of the pandemic, of family gatherings, noting that the high injuries of children and women are due to it.
It also announced the registration of 9 new deaths, bringing the total deaths in the Kingdom to 255 people. While it was reported that 1280 new cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 12,737 cases.
In addition, the total number of HIV-infected cases in Saudi Arabia was 41,014, of whom 28022 were active cases receiving adequate medical care and most were stable cases, of which 149 were critical cases receiving intensive and focused health care.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali also indicated that 38% of the prevalence of corona virus was in new cases recorded among citizens, while it was recorded in other nationalities in 62% of cases.
He confirmed that among the new cases infected with corona 7% cases were recorded in children, 89% cases were recorded in adults, while 4% cases were recorded in the elderly people over the age of 65 years.
