A cremation procedure for four Korean teachers who died in the Annapurna avalanche accident in Nepal is being carried out locally.

According to diplomatic authorities and local mountaineers, the victim's cremation process began in Kathmandu, the capital, on the 7th with the consent of the survivors.

Until today (9th), 3 makeups are done every day, and the schedule for the remaining victims has not been scheduled.

A funeral ceremony was held along with makeup.

It has been reported that a ceremony held at the Catholic Church since the 7th was attended by one family member who was staying in the country, an employee of the Chungnam Office of Education, and the Korean Embassy in June.

Other family members or officials were unable to enter the country due to Nepal's national blockade due to Corona19.

As the country's blockade continues until the 18th and international flights have been suspended until the 31st of this month, the schedule for domestic transport of remains has not been set.

Four teachers belonged to the Chungnam Office of Education were disembarked in an avalanche with three Nepalese guides while they were descending from the Himalayan Annapurna Deuraly lodge on January 17th.
