How many have died in each municipality?

Thousands of operations and treatments (eg chemotherapy, screening) are set up every week, how do you plan to manage it? Most diseases, such as cancer, do not take a break even though the treatment does ...

Infection protection Halland responds: “Since the pandemic came, some type of planned care has been advanced. However, this does not apply to emergency surgery or planned visits and treatments that need to be performed so that the patient does not suffer from a serious condition that is time-critical. We will offer high quality care, whether it is covid-19 or other care needs. Now that we see that Halland has had a moderate influx of patients linked to the pandemic for a while, we see that we will be able to implement even more of the planned care that has been delayed for some time. We do not know today how many people with covid-19 diagnosis will need specialist care, but we are monitoring the situation and doing our utmost to be able to offer the care that is needed. "

Since patients ill in covid-19 have been insanely moved from the hospital in Varberg to a short-term accommodation in Varberg, according to an article I read in HN, the municipality has opened a new short-term accommodation for covid-sick people who come from the hospital. Are there special corona wards even for the elderly who are infected at special housing?

Infection Protection Halland responds: “The Infection Protection Unit recommends, among other things, that we keep our elderly separated at accommodation and minimize the number of contacts with other residents and staff. In addition, staff should as far as possible be assigned to care and care of those with covid-19. In the Dutch municipalities, covid-19 care has been resolved in slightly different ways, in some municipalities there are special departments for the infected, in other places, for example, short-term housing for the covid-19 infected. The details of how to solve it in each municipality have each municipality. "

Where in the "curve" is Halland?

I would like you to question the infection control's answer as to why more women than men died in Halland. She points to age and that more women would be older. Quite illogical. That is how it is in the whole country and the world and there are more men than women dying - extremely clear and Tegnell has said that it is because men are worse at coping with the virus. Instead, I think it is discrimination against who gets the best care. That is my experience from the care in Halland in the past.

Halland infestation responds: “There is still a lot we do not know about covid-19. Among other things, the fact that more men have become seriously ill and in need of intensive care is something that one needs to look more closely at in the future and there are concerns about whether men are in any way more sensitive to this virus. With regard to Halland's figures, there is currently a certain overweight of women among the deceased. In that group there are relatively more of the really old ones. How this develops over time, we see, it is always difficult to interpret numbers when the number is small and we are still in the pandemic in this situation. Current care is given the same care whether you are male or female, it is important for us in Halland. "

What do you do about the crowd on the tavern?

Been in Spain quarantine for 6 weeks came on Saturday how long do we need to be inside?

- In Sweden there are no rules on quarantine after having been abroad. As long as you are fully healthy, you should live just like everyone else, but keep in mind to wash your hands and keep your distance just like everyone else in society, says infection control physician Maria Löfgren.

My sister works at the nursing home, a week ago she had a sore throat, fever and a little bit of breathing when she called the hospital and wondered what to do. They answered "wait" and "you do not have corona", how do they know it by phone?

- It is a medical assessment made by staff with broad knowledge support. However, it is always a snapshot - if you deteriorate after being in contact with the health care you should contact them again. If you become acutely ill, you should contact 112, says Maria Löfgren.

What does the sampling look like in Halland? Which ones have been tried? Have you increased the number of samples?

- In the first instance, patients who are seriously ill are being tested. We also try out those who live in elderly homes and who need home care, as well as care staff. We have gradually increased the capacity and are working to increase it further, says the infection control physician Maria Löfgren.

Both Halland and Värmland show a sharp increase in reported cases in recent days. Could it be because of all summer cottage owners on the west coast who made recommendations and came here during Easter?

Region Halland responds: “The sharp increase that could be seen during one day was due to figures from several days being reported on Tuesday. This was due to an update in the lab system. We still see that the trend is a slower increase in the number of cases. ”

I have called for the responsibility of the landlords to take care of the cleaning of above all communal laundry facilities, which the home service also uses. Why are no strict rules on this being issued by infection control doctors in each region?

Region Halland responds: “Cleaning of public spaces requires every landlord to take responsibility for the procedures that are usually in place. Then the landlords also need to take the extra measures that may be required based on the recommendations that are now available. The best thing you can do is address the shortcomings of your landlord and protect yourself by following the recommendations on, among other things, hand hygiene. "

Who or who is responsible for ensuring that schools make a risk assessment to prevent infection?

Region Halland responds: “The principal of the schools is the municipalities who have a continuous dialogue with the infection control activities in Region Halland. Infection protection follows developments and makes efforts that may be required based on the situation at different schools. The principal has an important responsibility to follow the recommendations and may need to make changes, for example to avoid congestion in dining rooms or to reduce student groups in different ways. "

How does Halland think about the tourist season when many people from other parts of the country come here and have actually already started to come?

Region Halland responds: “The Dutch health service handles both the current situation well and also has the readiness to receive more people in need of hospital care. In order not to become infected or spread the infection to others, we want to follow the recommendations of the Public Health Authority not to travel. The infection protection in Halland thus, like the Public Health Agency, discourages travel even within Sweden. "

I have a question about municipal statistics; what does "outside of Halland" mean, are people tested in Halland but not living in Halland?

Region Halland answers: "Yes."
