His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, affirmed that the decision to unify the armed forces represents a bright sign in the history of the Emirates, a dear patriotic memory in the hearts of the nation’s people, and a source of pride and pride for the UAE and its people.
In a speech he addressed through the "Shield of the Nation" magazine on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the unification of the armed forces, which falls on the sixth of May of each year, he added: “We extend our highest congratulations and blessings to my brother His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and my brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and my brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to the members and officers of our armed forces. ”
His Highness added: “The high patriotic spirit, the values of peace, building and human giving constitute the lofty message of the sons and daughters of our armed forces, and the honorable history of it for more than four decades, is the best testimony to the UAE’s message and its pioneering role in promoting peace and regional and global stability.” And His Highness continued, “Thanks to the unlimited support from the leadership, our armed forces have achieved many accomplishments at the regional and global levels, to become today a global model that emulates efficiency, capabilities and qualification, and a source of pride and pride for the UAE and its people .. Today it participates in many noble tasks represented In providing humanitarian assistance, in resolving conflicts, and contributing to restoring hope and stability in many regions around the world. ”
His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah stressed that the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs of the homeland will remain present and engraved in the memory of the homeland and its children forever.
His Highness said: «On this precious occasion, as we celebrate the 44th anniversary of the unification of our armed forces, we remember with appreciation and reverence the well-known martyrs of the nation, among the sons of the righteous armed forces, who sacrificed their lives in exchange for the homeland.
