The General Command of Sharjah Police excluded vehicles that include members of one family or first-degree relatives from a violation of "exceeding the number of passengers allowed in one car for more than three people", while vehicles that do not include members of one family and the number of passengers exceeds three individuals applied It has the previous decision of the Attorney General No. (38) for the year 2020 regarding the application of the list of violations and administrative penalties issued by Cabinet Resolution No. (17) for the year 2020.
Sharjah Police confirmed that they are implementing the law on buses so that the number of passengers per bus does not exceed 25% of the bus capacity, as it instructed the bus operators to adhere to the physical distance between the passengers, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of community members.
