It turned out that the UAV belongs to UAV Factory, a drone manufacturing company, and UAV control was lost during the test flight.
“Remote control pilots working at the enterprise passed the corresponding exams,” said a representative of the Latvian Civil Aviation Agency.
Currently, the company's license for high-risk flights has been suspended, an investigation is underway.
