The Elysee Palace clarified, Sunday evening, the terms of the quarantine placement of people arriving in France. This quarantine will not be imposed on travelers arriving from other countries of the European Union, the Schengen area or the United Kingdom.

Anyone arriving in France will be quarantined as a precaution. This is what the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced on Saturday when he detailed the measures of the state of health emergency, extended until July 24. The next evening, the Élysée Palace brought a major clarification. France will not impose quarantine on "any person, whatever their nationality, coming from the European Union, the Schengen zone or the United Kingdom".
