According to American experts, China during January “hid” information about the coronavirus from the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to increase imports and reduce exports of medical masks, surgical gowns and gloves.

At the same time, the PRC authorities allegedly "denied the existence of export restrictions, confused and delayed the provision of their trade data."

These findings are based on a “95 percent probability” that changes in China's imports and exports were “outside the norm”.

Earlier, The Daily Telegraph wrote that intelligence agencies in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom suspected the Chinese government of concealing and destroying data on coronavirus.

US President Donald Trump, in turn, said that China could stop the spread of coronavirus infection, but did not.
