Daily Straits Times reported today that a 102-year-old woman from Singapore was cured and discharged from Corona 19.

According to the newspaper, Cheng Lei Hong, 102, was discharged from Tan Tock Seng Hospital yesterday (1 day).

He lived in a nursing home where a collective infection occurred and was treated after being confirmed corona19 on the 1st of last month.

Two of the nursing home's 86-year-old residents were previously killed in Corona19.

The 102-year-old is the oldest patient in Singapore to overcome Corona19, the newspaper said.

He was born in 1918, when the 'Spanish Flu' spread, known to have killed nearly 50 million people worldwide.

Globally, cases of cure in patients over 100 years of age are rare.

The world's oldest corona19 cure patient to date is a 107-year-old Dutch woman, the newspaper said.

An official from the nursing home said in the newspaper, "Mr. Ray Hong is very independent and active even though he is 102 years old."
