In Russia, 6361 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded per day, of which 2971 were in Moscow. This was announced by the operational headquarters to combat the spread of the disease.

Thus, the total number of cases detected in Russia reached 80,949. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,767 people have recovered and 747 patients have died.

At headquarters, it was clarified that almost half of the new cases of COVID-19 have no symptoms.

“All patients, as well as those who have close contact with them, are already under medical supervision. 41.5% of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 36.5% - from 46 to 65 years old, 12% - from 66 to 79 years old, another 6% - over 80 years old. Also 4% of the sick are children, ”they said at the headquarters about the sick in Moscow.

In the Moscow Region, where the number of infected people increased by 576 people, Rosgvardia employees checked that they maintained their social distance and that they had a pass for travel in public transport and at stops. 

“More than 450 passengers were checked for the presence of passes and compliance with the distance in transport. All passengers had passes and Strelka cards and social cards attached to them, seven drivers and carriers brought to administrative responsibility for the absence of masks, ”the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the region said.

Recall, according to the requirement of Rospotrebnadzor, taxi drivers and public transport drivers must comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards and use special masks, wear gloves, often wash their hands, monitor their health responsibly, and regularly conduct wet cleaning and disinfection.

Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that next week Vladimir Putin may make new statements on the prospects for the development of the situation with the coronavirus.

At the same time, the Russian Federation continues to provide assistance in combating the pandemic to the countries most affected by the coronavirus. Earlier, three more regions of Italy requested the help of the Russian military. “The leaders of other regions of Italy are already making official requests to send Russian troops to carry out work on their territory. Such requests were received from the governors of Piedmont, Puglia and Friuli - Venice-Julia, ”said Razov.

In total, 11 new cases of coronavirus were discovered per day in China, five of which were imported. In the province of Hubei, which became the focus of the epidemic, not a single case of infection was detected per day.

Coronavirus was first detected in Wuhan in December 2019. Since January 22, the city has been closed for departure: flights were canceled there, interurban highways were blocked, trains stopped running.

In late March, the Chinese authorities began to weaken quarantine measures. In Hubei, quarantine was lifted, and in Wuhan, the subway partially resumed operation.
