Dubai Future Accelerators, one of the initiatives of the Dubai Future Foundation, has succeeded in developing a pioneering experience in the world in applying the "remote work" smoothly and ensuring high performance continuity, in partnership with a group of government and private agencies in the UAE and 28 startups from 17 countries.

Accelerators launched its current session weeks ago and attracted startups from around the world to Dubai to work with government agencies in developing future projects, and were able to overcome the challenges that accompanied the emerging Corona virus, and the consequent travel and travel bans.

Saeed Al Falasi, CEO of Future Design and Accelerators at the Foundation, said that the gathering of government and private entities from the UAE to work remotely with emerging international companies, confirms the readiness of Dubai and the UAE to deal with global changes in all circumstances and the urgent challenge caused by the emerging corona virus (Covid- 19), thanks to its advanced infrastructure and its ability to invent future and proactive models for joint action.

On the other hand, Head of Creativity, Happiness and Innovation at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority Hind Al-Mualla said: “The Authority implemented an integrated methodology to follow up on the distance with emerging companies concerned with the education sector within the current cycle of Dubai future accelerators, through holding and organizing virtual meetings with emerging companies throughout The week periodically, in addition to enhancing cooperation opportunities between these companies and educational institutions in Dubai, by linking them together with interactive virtual meetings, through which groups of private schools in Dubai learned about the services and innovative solutions offered by startups to implement the Efficient and effective distance education, as well as being offered and available within the Dubai One Row platform, launched by the authority as the first community distance learning platform that provides resources, knowledge content and innovative solutions to enrich the experiences of schools, teachers, students and parents in their experience with the application of distance education ». The virtual workshop, organized in partnership with the global Magnet platform, focused on "the investment landscape in the region."

Participants in a second workshop, in partnership with Linkedin, learned about the most important opportunities available to benefit from its extensive global network of business development in the MENA region. The HRD team at Dubai Future Foundation also organized a workshop on attracting local and international talent to work for startups in the Emirates.

Innovative technologies in the healthcare sector
