The RT VR film Auschwitz Lessons, timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp by the Soviet troops, won by decision of the jury in three categories: Facebook Video, Virtual Reality and Branded Content. According to the results of the audience voting, the VR-film RT with elements of virtual reality and technology for three-dimensional shooting became the best in four categories. The film was created as part of a large-scale social media project on RT # Pages of the Victory TV channel together with VR-artist Denis Semenov.

The AR-book of the multimedia project RT # Romanovs100, dedicated to the centenary of the execution of the royal family, is the winner in the categories of "Education", "Creative use of technology" and "Books and news." The Shorty Awards jury also awarded the project gold and silver in the nominations “UX / UI Design” and “Branded Content”. The highest rating of Internet users AR-book received in three categories. As part of the project # Romanovs100, launched in collaboration with the State Archive of Russia, several thousand photographs from the archives of the imperial family were published. 

Interactive project of RT Ruptly video agency “Diatlov’s group diary: Last page” received the highest jury award in the categories “Multi-platform campaign” and “Narration”. The project is based on the real diary of the Dyatlov group, personal notes and photos of the expedition members.

The Redfish media platform, part of the Ruptly structure, won gold in the Social Activism nomination. The Redfish team spoke on the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms about protest movements in France, Ecuador, Chile, Bolivia and other countries.

The social media project Ruptly - Soapbox (Maffick) - became the winner according to the results of voting by Internet users in the "News and Media" category.

In 2019, the # Romanovs100 project and the RT360 app for viewing panoramic content won the highest Shorty Awards. Ruptly broadcasts from the yellow vest protests in France won gold in the Best Live News coverage of the event, beating Bloomberg Media.
