The couple, who are in their 70-80s left their cabin on Thursday morning to go fishing and fishing. At 19 o'clock they still had not returned so a worried neighbor alerted the police.

- So we start mountain rescue because it starts to darken and given the couple's age. The lake is a bit off the road and there is snow up to the waist, says police spokesman Kenneth Johannesson.

"Lucky for the neighbor to keep track"

The search itself started at 20.30 and was based on the location where the couple's car was found. A quarter later, they were both found.

- It was zero-degree and blew hard, they were tired but felt good according to the circumstances. If you had not had the car to start from, it would have been difficult and then it could have gone bad. It was fortunate that the neighbor was aware that they were gone, says Kenneth Johannesson.
