Dubai Police was keen to announce the campaign in a way that suits the target group through a photo of a small policeman wearing a distinctive uniform, and sends a message to his peers, which reads:

“My friends, if you are subjected to violence or abuse, you can contact me via the toll-free number 901 or email me cwprotection @ duaipolice.gov.ae @ with an emphasis on the importance of staying at home.”

A security source in Dubai Police told «Emirates Today», “The campaign comes within the framework of Dubai Police’s concern to protect the child from all possible abuses”, pointing out that there is coordination between all police departments and the unified call center 901, to transfer the reports and observations to each department According to its jurisdiction.

He pointed out that the complaints related to the "Betty Aman Lee" campaign were transferred directly to the Women and Children Protection Department at the General Department for Human Rights.

He added that Dubai Police is not only concerned with any abuses that the child is exposed to outside the home, but is also keen to provide a safe environment for him inside his home, and to protect him from any abuse or aggression under various circumstances, stressing that this category enjoys all the care of the state in light of issuing and applying a law The child known as "Wadima Law".

The source added that the abuse to which the child may be exposed during this period is not limited to simply bypassing or abusing one of his relatives, but it is possible that he will be exposed to this through the Internet, whether electronic games that consume most of the time of children now in light of ensuring that they remain at home, or Through social networks.

He stressed the need for parents to assimilate their children at this stage and ensure that they contain, draw close to them and share their activities so that children do not get bored, stressing the need not to use hitting or cruelty in general to discipline children because of the psychological harm it represents to them, in addition to exposing the perpetrator of this act to legal accountability. . It is reported that the Department of Women and Child Protection is concerned with dealing with complaints received from children and women victims of violence and neglect, and includes a section to provide support and aftercare for these victims.
