She pointed out that the inspection teams will tighten control over storage and display areas, to ensure that health and food safety standards are applied in them, and educate workers about the most important good practices that ensure food safety, such as dealing with food in healthy ways in terms of preservation and storage, and pay attention to the general hygiene of the preparation areas, and make them aware The importance of maintaining personal health and hygiene, providing the necessary disinfection and sterilization materials in the facility, paying attention to hand washing in designated facilities, commitment to wearing protective clothing, such as headgear, masks and gloves, and caring for closing door openings and Windows, especially in storage areas.

During the past few days, the Authority carried out, within its campaigns, more than 21,000 inspection visits to food establishments in the emirate, targeting establishments providing food and preparing food outlets and food outlets, in addition to establishments that provide other food activities, and the visits resulted in verifying that 18,388 establishments met the necessary requirements , And alerting 106 installations, and warning 458 other establishments, in addition to issuing 1989 a final warning to establishments that do not comply with the instructions and requirements, and implementing 54 violations procedures for a number of other facilities.
