The incident happened at 22 on Thursday evening.
"There are a number of witnesses to the incident," said Rickard Lundqvist, a police spokesman.
Police searched for the suspected offender, including a dog, but no one has been arrested at this time.
According to police, it is unclear if the men have known each other since before.
The police classify the incident as serious abuse. It is unclear how serious the man's injuries were.
