From the 1st to the 15th of this month, the Vietnamese government has implemented measures to restrict unnecessary outings other than the purchase of food and medicines and the gathering of more than two people in public places throughout the country.

Regarding this measure, the Vietnamese government judges the infection risk by considering the population density and traffic volume, and divides the city and provinces into three groups, and then the 12 provinces and cities such as the capital city Hanoi and the largest city Ho Chi Minh are infected. Given the high risk, we decided to extend the restriction for another week until 22nd of this month.

It is said that this group may be extended until the 30th of this month based on the future situation.

In other provinces and cities, measures such as restrictions on going out will be eased.

So far, 267 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in Vietnam, and no one has died.
