Organ noises in a church in full confinement. Warned by local residents, the police discovered an underground Easter mass on the night of Saturday to Sunday at the traditionalist church of Saint-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet in Paris.

On their arrival, the doors of the church, known for its conservative rite and in particular the mass in Latin, were closed. At midnight, a person went out and told the police that there were indeed around 40 people inside.

The police contacted the priest, who was fined for breaching the confinement. According to Le Point , the participants were not verbalized.

In March, a priest received a legal reminder for celebrating a mass in a private campsite in Isère, while the thirteen faithful present were fined for non-compliance with the confinement linked to the coronavirus.
