“The issues related to the negotiations within the OPEC-plus regarding the reduction of oil production were discussed,” the Kremlin’s press service said.
It was agreed on further Russian-Saudi contacts on this issue.
Earlier, the Kremlin announced a telephone conversation between Putin, Trump and the king of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud, which took place on the night of April 10.
It was later reported that Putin and Trump had a telephone conversation during which they discussed the situation with oil and coronavirus.
