Forest fires have not stopped for nearly a week on the territory of the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Police have already detained one of the alleged perpetrators of the fire - a 27-year-old resident of the village of Ragovka. Meanwhile, on April 10, the Ukrainian State Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety announced that due to fires, air contaminated with radioactive cesium (Cs-137) will soon fall in Kiev and the region. However, the department noted that the concentration of the substance will not pose a threat to human health.
