From April 13, the gradual introduction of access control due to the worsening epidemiological situation should begin in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. According to him, such a measure will cause additional inconvenience to citizens, but it is necessary, since we are talking about the health and life of a large number of people.

“At the first stage, we will introduce it (access control) for trips to work. At the second stage - for travel for other purposes. And in the third stage - if necessary - to move around the area. On the timing of the introduction of each of the steps we will say additionally. The access system will be declarative in nature. But the city authorities reserve the right to verify the accuracy of the information provided, ”Sobyanin explained.

He stressed that the authorities of the capital will begin to return the city to a normal rhythm of life, as soon as the threat of the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 recedes.

According to RIA Novosti, the Moscow Department of Information Technologies specified that the procedure for obtaining and using passes in the capital will be approved by a separate regulatory act.

In addition, the mayor signed a decree according to which a number of additional prohibitions and restrictions were introduced from April 13 to 19.

Thus, the work of almost all enterprises and organizations is suspended, with the exception of state authorities, medical organizations, food and medical industries, manufacturers of personal protective equipment, key enterprises in the defense industry, space, nuclear industry and critical infrastructure.

In addition, car-sharing services and construction work are suspended, except for the construction of medical facilities, as well as continuous-cycle work in the construction and maintenance of the metro, railway, ground public transport and airports.

“Of course, food shops and other retail stores that are open today continue to work. Structures ensuring the payment of wages can continue to work. All operating enterprises should minimize staff present at workplaces. The rest of the employees are transferred to remote work or to a non-working week, ”explained Sobyanin.

As the mayor noted, appropriate decisions were made due to the fact that since April 6, the situation with the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Moscow has begun to deteriorate, in particular, the number of severe patients with pneumonia is growing.

“In the coming days and weeks, we will face severe trials. We must be patient and courageous and as responsible as possible to comply with the established rules and restrictions. Only in this way can we cope with this scourge and save the lives of people close to us, ”Sobyanin explained.

Earlier in Moscow on the eve of religious holidays - Palm Sunday, Easter, Krasnaya Gorka and Radonitsa - it was announced that cemeteries should not be visited until the end of the high alert regime. An exception is made only for the funeral.

Moscow region

In addition to the mayor of the capital, Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow Region, wrote down his appeal to citizens. He also said that the regime of admissions will be introduced in stages in the region, for which the corresponding platform “Services.Mosreg.Ru” has already been prepared.

“We will act in stages, carefully. And even if you are not registered, you do not have a QR code - it’s okay to have an identity card and an identity card from the place of work. We will definitely explain and show how it works, ”he said.

At the same time, police units, the Russian Guard, and the traffic police will be reinforced in the suburbs. They will stop citizens and be interested in why they left home.

“Therefore, I ask you to stay at home and take seriously the requirements that life sets before us in order to prevent the spread of the virus,” the governor added.
