The comprehensive 48-hour curfew in Jordan has entered into force, starting from tonight, and will continue until midnight on Saturday-Sunday.

Yesterday, the Jordanian government confirmed that the curfew includes all those with electronic permits, with the exception of medical personnel in the public and private sectors, some officials, and field staff in specific institutions who have been notified of the exception.

A Jordanian security spokesman confirmed that strict measures were taken, and said, "We will not tolerate violators of the comprehensive ban, and drones will be used to monitor compliance with the ban."
