Boris Johnson was transferred from intensive care to a regular ward

This was reported by Sky News with reference to a representative of the Prime Minister’s office.

It is noted that he "will be under close observation" at an early stage of recovery.

Earlier, British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab said that Johnson is still in the intensive care unit, but "continues to take steps to improve."

On April 5, it became known that Johnson was hospitalized on the advice of the attending physician in connection with the persisting symptoms of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
