An explosion occurred in the center of Moscow in a business center. According to various sources, two to four people were injured in the incident.

According to the UK, the cause of the explosion was the depressurization of the oxygen cylinder during construction. The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarifies that the explosion occurred at about 13:30 local time in the business center "Panorama", located on 2nd Brestskaya Street.

As a result of an explosion on one of the floors, glass was broken, partitions were damaged. Shards of glass and fragments of window frames fell on cars parked near the building.

The Moscow Investigative Committee Office reports that two were injured in the incident. According to RIA Novosti, citing emergency services in the capital, four people asked for medical help after the explosion.

In addition, after the explosion, a fire started in the room, which spread over an area of ​​five square meters, but the fire was quickly put out.

As the deputy mayor of Moscow on housing and communal services and public improvement Peter Biryukov said, two people were on the floor at the time of the explosion.

“One and a half dozen windows flew out, crumbled. There were approximately two people on this floor, including a woman who received minor injuries, ”said Biryukov.

“On the street, one woman who was here on the carriageway in a car suffered from glass fragments, window openings that flew out,” Biryukov said.

At the scene, investigators work to find out all the circumstances of the incident. The audit will be made a procedural decision.

Incident in Orekhovo-Zuevo

The incident with a gas explosion previously occurred in a residential building in Orekhovo-Zuevo. In a five-story residential building on Gagarin Street, a gas boiler exploded, as a result of which the second entrance collapsed from the third to fifth floor.

Three people were killed in the incident. Rescuers who arrived at the scene took 50 people out of the building. Another 150 were evacuated before the units arrived. Several people were hospitalized.

Later it became known that the authorities of the Moscow region will pay 1 million rubles to the families of the victims. 500 thousand rubles will be sent to those who suffered from the explosion.

Prior to this, a similar gas incident occurred in a residential building in Magnitogorsk during repair work. After the explosion, a fire broke out, which spread to several apartments on different floors of the building, as a result of which an ignition was assigned an increased level of complexity.

According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred at a time when stretch ceilings were installed in the apartment. As a result of the explosion, two people died, two more, including a child, were injured. One of the wounded children later died in a hospital.

A few days after the incident, the governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Alexei Teksler, said that law enforcement authorities detained the man in connection with the explosion in a residential building in Magnitogorsk. According to the head of the region, we are talking about a man who brought a gas bottle into the building, which caused the explosion.
