The infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed by a male employee in his 50s working at the secretariat of the Cabinet Secretariat.

The male staff felt malaise on the 4th of this month, and the fever continued from the next day. As a result of a virus test, a positive result was confirmed on the 8th, and the hospital is scheduled to be hospitalized on the 9th.

According to the Cabinet Secretariat, the male employee has not been in or out of the Prime Minister's Office in the past two weeks and has had no contact with the relevant ministers.

The Cabinet Secretariat will disinfect the office where the staff works, identify staff members who had been in contact before the onset, and decided to wait at home from the 9th.
