The UAE has sent an aid plane carrying 13 tons of various medical and preventive supplies to Kazakhstan, which will benefit 10 thousand medical workers, to support it in the face of the emerging corona virus (Covid 19).

This initiative comes within the framework of the UAE’s cooperation with countries that are working to fight the outbreak of the new Corona virus, and to enhance global efforts to limit its spread.

Dr. Muhammad Ahmed bin Sultan Al-Jaber, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, said: "The state is committed to providing support to countries affected by the" Covid-19 crisis ", in the awareness that multilateral cooperation is necessary for the international community to overcome this humanitarian crisis."

He added, "This aid is one of the many shipments that the UAE sent since the beginning of the crisis to many affected countries, in addition to its cooperation with the World Health Organization to enhance the global response to fight the spread of the virus."

He pointed out that the assistance provided by the UAE to Kazakhstan with medical and preventive supplies will enable the medical staff there to fulfill its duty to combat the spread of the virus in the country, stressing that the UAE stands and leads it alongside the people of Kazakhstan and all the peoples of the world to overcome this humanitarian catastrophe.
