The postman will pass more often

While the postman's tour has only been carried out three times a week for the past 15 days (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), the management of the Post Office says that this frequency will be gradually increased. However, she does not venture to set a date for a return to five days. It is however more precise on the distribution of newspapers, which are delivered four times a week: a return to normal is scheduled for April 15. It must be said that the distribution over only three days had caused an uproar within the press companies.

Most offices open by the end of the month

The revival of activity also concerns the post offices, which will thus be able to better guarantee the payment of social benefits. Some 250 have already reopened since the beginning of the week, bringing to 1,850 the counters available on the 7,700 that cover the territory.

By the end of the fourth week of confinement, the management of the Post intends to rely on 2,500 offices, and 5,000 at the end of April. And the CEO of the Post Philippe Wahl to specify that these reopenings will be carried out in the first place in rural areas and priority neighborhoods.
