The United States yesterday recorded the highest death toll from the "corona" virus emerging in one day after confirming the death of more than 1,800 people during the past twenty-four hours, the highest recorded in the world.
New York State Governor Andrew Koomo confirmed that the state had witnessed 731 deaths from the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 5,489.
As of yesterday, the United States recorded 377,317 cases, 11,773 deaths, and 19,874 people recovered.
