The Dubai Health Authority has announced the expansion of the scope of the "My Medicines" services, which are concerned with delivering medicine to homes, to include all regions of the country, within the framework of the efforts exerted by the authority to provide the highest levels of support to society, during the current exceptional circumstance witnessed by the UAE, and faced by the whole world, In order to mitigate the largest possible segment of the targeted patients, especially the senior citizens and those of determination, who hold any of the health insurance cards "happiness" or "care".

The authority launched the "My Drug" initiative in mid-December, and it is the first service in terms of integrating its services worldwide, and it is a mobile pharmacy, accompanied by a specialist drug delivery vehicle, to provide consultations and advice related to the drug.

The expansion of the scope of the service to include all of the country came through cooperation with the company «Talabat», which is specialized in the field of delivery, which expressed its desire to harness its capabilities and equipment, from cars and motorcycles, to deliver the drug to patients free of charge, as a contribution to these conditions imposed by the Corona virus And its global implications.

The Director of the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services Department at the Authority, Dr. Ali Al-Sayed, expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture shown by the company “Talabat”, which reflects the extent of keenness of all components of society, whether at the level of institutions or individuals, to join efforts to enhance everyone's ability to face the crisis The world is passing through.

He explained that "my medicine" is continuous 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for both senior citizens and people of determination, and difficult medical conditions that prevent their health conditions from reaching the authority's pharmacies to receive the medicine.
