The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers decided to suspend the work of all ministries, government agencies, public bodies and corporations as a precaution due to the outbreak of the new Corona Virus from Sunday, April 12 to Thursday, corresponding to 23 of the month, as rest days, to resume official working hours on Sunday, April 26.

Kuwaiti government spokesman Tariq Al-Muzram said in a press conference that based on the health authorities ’decision, the cabinet decided to amend the curfew period in the country from five o'clock in the evening until six o'clock in the morning every day from Monday until further notice. The council also decided to impose complete isolation in the areas of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula during the period of allowing the two-week wandering in the country, as of this evening.
