The European Judo Championships, originally scheduled for early May in Prague and delayed for the first time in mid-June, have again been postponed until early November, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the European Federation announced on Monday ( EJU).

The continental competition will be held November 8-10 in Prague, said the EJU. These dates must however be confirmed, depending on negotiations with the Prague Arena, where the event is to be organized, said the European body.

The International Judo Federation (IJF) has already suspended all of its competitions until at least June 30, 2020.

The European Championships were initially scheduled from May 1 to 3 in the Czech capital.
