The United States says there are no North Korean workers in the country who need to be repatriated under the UN Security Council resolution.

According to the Security Council's North Korea Sanctions Committee website today (4th), the United States remains in the country with the previous work permit received from December 23, 2018 to December 22, last year in the final report on Security Council Resolution 2397 filed on the 20th of last month. And there are no North Koreans who fall under the illegal provisions.

The United States said in the report, "the United Nations Security Council plans to continue implementing North Korea sanctions."

Security Council Resolution 2397, passed on December 22, 2017, requires UN member states to return North Korean workers in their country within 24 months to block the acquisition of North Korean foreign currency.

In addition, we had to submit a final report stating that it had been completed by March 22, 2020.

According to the website of the North Korea Sanctions Committee, 52 countries submitted a report with the status of repatriation as of the 30th of last month.
