On Thursday, an alert was received that a person had been hit. When the rescue service arrived at the scene, an injured woman was lying under a car in a parking lot in Södra Sandby.

It was when the woman got out of her car that she got stuck under it. The car ended up rolling because she had forgotten to pull the handbrake.

"The woman was conscious but clearly affected by pain," says Gustaf Sandell, internal commander of the rescue service Syd.

Was taken to hospital

The rescue service released the woman with the help of airbags and she was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

"She was alone at the scene when she got stuck with her leg under her car," said Patric Fors, spokesperson for the South Region police.

The police have taken over the case but no notification has been made.
