Case 3 was of Chinese nationality, studying in the United Kingdom, departing from the United Kingdom on March 27 and arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 28 after transiting through Japan. Due to symptoms, he was sent to a designated medical institution for observation. Based on comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed.

Case 4 was of Chinese nationality and travelled in the Netherlands. He left the Netherlands on March 30 and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on March 31. Due to symptoms, he was sent to a designated medical institution for observation. Based on comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed.

Four overseas imported confirmed cases have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, 23 close contacts with the flight have been tracked, and centralized isolation observation has been implemented.

At 04:00 on April 2, there were no new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia.

As of 24:00 on April 2nd, a total of 187 imported confirmed cases abroad were reported, 16 were cured and discharged, and 171 were treated in hospital (1 of which was critically ill). There are 13 suspected cases pending investigation.
