The US Emergency Management Agency has asked the Ministry of Defense for 100,000 bags of death, with the death toll from the emerging corona virus, according to the Pentagon.

According to White House experts, despite the containment efforts, the number of deaths in the United States due to the virus will rise to between 100,000 and 240,000. The death toll has now reached more than 5,100 deaths.

The Pentagon said the Defense Logistics Authority was considering the "Federal Emergency Management Agency" request.

Pentagon spokesman Colonel Mike Andrews said the agency was "responding to the prudent planning efforts of the Federal Agency to obtain 100,000 dead bags" to cope with the situation.

With the high rate of injuries and deaths, especially in New York City, President Donald Trump warned Tuesday that the country would witness "two very painful weeks."
