The new crown pneumonia epidemic has spread worldwide. What happened to the overseas Chinese in various countries? China Overseas Chinese Network (ID: qiaowangzhongguo) has specially released a series of manuscripts of "Remaining Overseas", which tells the story of the "war epidemic" of the overseas Chinese. In this issue, Meng Fanli of Italy shares her left-behind story.

Recently, the global outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and the number of patients in Italy where I am living has grown wildly.

However, China's epidemic situation has been initially controlled, which has given us great confidence overseas. Looking back at the epidemic, my mood has been ups and downs.

Anxious

During the Spring Festival, the epidemic situation in China was severe, and I was concerned about the epidemic situation in my country and parents and children in China all the time.

In class, the children asked me, "Teacher, do you want to go home? Are you going to go home?" The sentence seemed to touch the softest part of my heart, but at this moment, I understand the task on my shoulders and complete my own Mission is the most important.

I said, "The teacher will teach you everything in this book before you go home. Rest assured!"

In those days, when the school initiated donations, all the teachers and students, parents, and overseas Chinese were enthusiastically donating donations to the ancestral home country.

I also responded positively and did my best. The children at my school also recorded blessing videos for China, produced cheering greeting cards, and encouraged China together! I believe China will overcome the epidemic!

Be caught off guard, but feel warm and proud

In March, when the spring season was supposed to be in full bloom, the epidemic in Italy suddenly got worse. Masks were in short supply. We also do not have any epidemic prevention supplies, but the motherland always thinks of us at all times. The first batch of masks from the United Front Department of Tianjin sent us the first time.

At the same time, local schools are also actively buying disinfectant and other anti-epidemic supplies for us, and they have also delivered food to us, doing our best to ensure our safety. Domestic leaders, colleagues, and students recorded greeting videos and produced greeting cards. I couldn't help crying when I saw these. It is your concern that gives me strength, and I have to do my job well to be worthy of your concern.

At this time, the news of the country's staged victory in the fight against the epidemic gave us a peace of mind. Not only that, the country also sent medical teams to Italy and sent supplies. The Italian people also expressed their gratitude to China in their own way. . Seeing these reports and the pictures created by Italian children, I am extremely proud. The strength of the motherland has strengthened my confidence: we can and will finally get out of the storm of "war epidemic"!

Firm your convictions and do your job well!

As the epidemic is getting worse and worse, Italy has closed the city, and self-declarations are required to go out for shopping; schools have also been closed and changed to online teaching.

This is a test for me who has never had live teaching experience.

At the moment of the epidemic, I must strengthen my conviction and stay on the job to complete the task. I use different methods for different grades and students to complete teaching.

Although we cannot fight on the front line of "anti-epidemic" like doctors, we can stay in our posts as "teachers". I believe that with the joint efforts of people around the world, this "war without gun smoke" The epidemic will soon triumph, and we look forward to the peaceful campus full of children's laughter and laughter, it must be lively!
