In this regard, the ruling party expressed a request to fully explain to the people the production system and the timing of stable supply of masks that are in short supply.

Opposition parties have requested economic measures such as providing more than 100,000 yen per person to all citizens and demanding self-restraint as well as compensating for losses resulting from leave of absence.

The government plans to put together economic measures next week, taking into account the ruling and opposition parties' opinions.
