“Today, the United States is launching an expanded anti-drug operation in the Western Hemisphere to protect the American people from the deadly infection of illicit drugs,” the US leader announced.

According to him, drug cartels cannot be given the opportunity to use a pandemic to threaten the lives of US residents.

“In partnership with 22 countries, the Southern Command will expand the intelligence, interception and seizure of drug supplies,” he said.

In connection with the anti-drug operation, ships, planes and helicopters will be additionally deployed.
