His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, chaired a remote meeting, with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and a number of the country's ambassadors accredited abroad, through video technology.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the diplomatic and consular corps of the UAE in a number of countries, in light of the global efforts made to contain the outbreak of the Corona virus emerging (Covid 19).

His Highness also reviewed the various preventive measures and measures taken by the country's embassies abroad to ensure the security and safety of citizens in the host countries, students, patients and visitors, and communicate with them and follow up on their affairs and reassure their health, meet their needs, and the role played by the country's diplomatic missions, which is to provide all Forms of support and assistance to local communities, which reflects the Emirates humanitarian message, which extends a helping hand to all peoples without discrimination based on race, color, or belief, and in isolation from any political considerations.

His Highness also praised the efforts of the operations room in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which supervised communication with the country's citizens abroad, and made the necessary arrangements to return them to the Emirates.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “The efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and our diplomatic cadres are appreciated .. We send a message to the world through them that we support any joint international efforts and any global cooperation to reduce the health and economic impacts of this epidemic on mankind.” His Highness added: “Our message to the countries of the world Through our ambassadors: We are the strongest of society, united, and cooperative ... and the world after this epidemic needs a different, developed and rapid system of cooperation.

And His Highness affirmed by saying: "Our diplomatic cadres have proven exceptional efficiency ... We salute their efforts ... and we recommend them to take care of their health and the health of their work teams and their families all over the world."

His Highness continued: “The efforts of Sheikh Abdullah and the country's ambassadors abroad and the operations room within the ministry were swift and proactive, and showed a complete readiness to deal with all circumstances.” His Highness stated that “the UAE is one team internally and externally .. The remote meeting, held by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, included the UAE Ambassador to the United States of America, Yousef Mana Al Otaiba, and the UAE Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea, Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi And the UAE’s ambassador to the People's Republic of China, Dr. Ali Obaid Al-Dhaheri, the UAE’s ambassador to Australia, Abdullah Ali Al-Sabousi, the UAE’s ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Hafsa Abdullah Al-Ulama, the UAE’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mansour Abdullah Belhoul, and the mother’s country’s ambassador Rat of the Italian Republic, Omar Obaid Al Shamsi, horse, and the UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Majid Hassan Al Suwaidi, Deputy Chairman of the UAE mission in the United States, Shaima Gargash.
