At the end of the afternoon on Tuesday, the Haute-Garonne firefighters received a phone call for an apartment fire on the rue d'Amilhau side, in the Faourette district, in Toulouse. Thick black smoke was indeed emanating from the balcony of one of the apartments in a building when the fire men arrived on the spot.
But when they intervened to extinguish the flames, they found only a barbecue to extinguish, with meat certainly well grasped given the fumes that the fats generated.
The firefighters therefore left, and certainly did not forget to recall that poisoning is possible with indoor barbecues, more numerous during this confinement period.
