He noted that this approach made it possible at the moment "to gain time, to contain the explosive spread of coronavirus infection in previous weeks."
The President emphasized that at present “the effective interaction of local, regional and federal structures, their coordinated work in the same logic and ahead of schedule is of fundamental importance.”
Starting March 30, Moscow introduced a home self-isolation regime for all residents of any age. A similar decision was made in respect of the Moscow region.
Later, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the regional governors to work out measures similar to those taken in the capital and the Moscow region.
