Local sources said that a convoy of military equipment belonging to the Saudi-Emirati coalition arrived in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen.

The sources added that military vehicles on board forty trucks entered Aden and headed to the coalition headquarters in the Brega District.

A document from the Yemeni Ministry of Defense showed that there is a traffic permit for these trucks from the custody port between Yemen and Saudi Arabia on March 28th.

The arrival of these military vehicles comes at a time when the city of Aden is experiencing a tension between the security belt forces of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council and the forces of the legitimate government, in light of the stalled implementation of the Riyadh agreement signed between the two parties.

Yemen suffers from security and political chaos under the weight of a six-year war between pro-government forces and Houthi forces in control of governorates, including the capital, Sanaa, since 2014.

The Yemeni conflict is complicated by the fact that it has regional extensions. Since 2015, a Saudi-Emirati military alliance has been supporting pro-government forces in the face of the Iranian-backed Houthis, who are fighting with the Kingdom for influence in several Arab countries.
