The 30-year-old man from Varberg is sentenced by the district court in Varberg to three years in prison for rape, assault, gross violation of women and illegal threats.
In a relationship in 2015, the man forced himself on his partner and performed sexual intercourse even though the woman was ill and asleep. On another occasion, the man abused the woman when she denied him sexual intercourse.
In the next relationship 2018-2019, the man abused his partner on a number of occasions by striking her and throwing her down on the floor and against walls.
Both women testify to the man's great control needs of them and one of them testifies that he repeatedly demanded to have a look in her panties to check if she was unfaithful.
Denies everything
The court notes that the man should be convicted of serious crimes against the women and the court also weighs in that the crimes have happened in the home and in the vicinity of small children.
The man himself denies everything.
He is expected to pay SEK 130,000 and SEK 80,000 in damages to both women.
