Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi directed the issuance of exceptional rewards to all workers currently in isolation, fever, chest and central laboratories hospitals at the level of Egypt, provided that those exceptional rewards be paid out from the Long Live Egypt Fund.

This came during Sisi’s meeting today with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the defense, education, finance, health and population ministers.

The Spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic stated that the meeting dealt with following up the situation at the state level with regard to the measures taken to combat the spread of the new Corona virus, as well as the overall implications in this regard.

During the meeting, Sisi expressed appreciation to all workers in the health sector in Egypt, who are at the forefront of the country's efforts to counter the Corona virus.

In this context, Al-Sisi directed an increase in the medical profession allowance by 75% over the current value, including doctors working in university hospitals, as well as creating a risk fund for members of medical professions.

Al-Sisi stressed during the meeting that combating the spread of the Corona virus is a key issue worldwide, which calls for solidarity and collective awareness to achieve the highest rates of coordination and harmony among the agencies concerned with the entire country, as well as citizens, in managing this crisis.
