The coronavirus has now killed more in Spain than in China, the cradle of the pandemic. With 3,434 dead, the number of deaths linked to the Covid-19 epidemic in Spain surpassed that of mainland China on Wednesday, March 25, according to figures released by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

In the space of 24 hours, Spain recorded 738 additional deaths, an increase of more than 27%.

In total, the country now has 47,160 confirmed cases of contamination, compared to 39,673 the previous day, an increase of almost 19%.
