White House epidemic expert broke news: Trump's accusations against China are not true, but I can't stop it

The United States "Science" magazine recently interviewed Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and spoke with the expert who has been providing scientific advice to the White House and Trump on the outbreak. A lot of controversy has been raised over the epidemic-for example, Trump has consistently described the new crown virus as a "Chinese virus."

In this interview, Fauci first stated that he is currently healthy and not infected with the virus, but is a bit tired. The expert, who was previously considered "sealed" by the White House, also said he had not been fired.

Later, under the inquiry of Science magazine, Fauci said that he was not fired because Trump was still willing to listen to him. But he also said that what Trump said at the press conference, although he did not object in principle, the way he expressed it was easy to cause misunderstanding of the facts.

Next, "Science" magazine began to ask Fauci about China, such as asking him how he thought Trump had accused China of "should tell the U.S. crown virus epidemic situation 3-4 months in advance" at a press conference.

In this regard, Fuxi first told the reporter helplessly, what can you expect me to do? The reporter told Fossey that you are the person representing science, truth and facts in the White House, but some of the voices made by the White House are not true and true.

Fauci then replied that after Trump made the remarks that China should tell the U.S. New Crown epidemic 3-4 months in advance, I have stated with relevant personnel that this statement is inconsistent with the facts (before the outbreak of China) 2- Three months was last September. Fossey said he thinks those concerned should then tell Trump to be cautious and stop saying so.

"But I can't always jump in front of the microphone and push him down. Well, now that he's already said, let us try to make corrections next time," Fuxi said.

When asked if he would like to describe the new crown virus as a "Chinese virus" like Trump, Fauci once again gave Trump "embarrassment", saying that he "will not say so" and "forever will not".

Fuxi also expressed his approval for some of China's epidemic prevention measures during the interview. Asked by Science whether the United States should follow China's measures to take temperature measurements at supermarkets, Fauci said, "Yes, we should of course consider that." He also stated that he would bring this up at the next meeting of the Outbreak Working Group to see what logistical or bureaucratic reasons led to the United States not implementing such a measure worth considering.

In addition, Fauci talked with Science about how the White House was isolated during meetings. Faucy said that U.S. Vice President Pence will require no more than 10 people in each conference room, and once it is exceeded, he will be rushed to other conference rooms.

But for Trump ’s press conferences, where more than a dozen people often stand together, and a large group of reporters sitting together below, Fossey said he has done his best, but he “is impossible to achieve things that cannot be achieved”.

It is interesting that when Science asked Fauci, Trump chose to "cover his face" when he used the "conspiracy theory" to hype the epidemic topic at a recent press conference. Fauci answered "No comment" ...

Finally, when asked why the United States ’epidemic preparedness measures did not play a role in the epidemic, and where there was a problem, Fauci said that it may have to wait for everything to pass, and when people look back and reflect, they can find the answer.

But he also made clear that the test of new coronary pneumonia cases is a "clear" issue that needs attention, especially why the United States has failed to implement testing on a larger scale.
