"At the moment, there is no need to introduce a state of emergency in Ukraine ... the development of this coronavirus in Ukraine is moderate, unlike other countries," Shmygal quoted UNN as saying.
According to him, the introduction of an emergency mode in certain regions where there are cases of coronavirus is a sufficient measure.
Earlier, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krikliy said that the government decided to ban citizens from leaving the country for tourist purposes. As the head of the department noted, the departure of passengers on air travel for tourism purposes will be prohibited.
From March 24 in the Lviv region an emergency mode is introduced due to the outbreak of coronavirus infection COVID-19. Previously, the emergency mode was introduced in the Kharkov region. Moreover, the head of the Ministry of Health of the country recommended the introduction of a state of emergency throughout the country.
According to the latest data, 73 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Ukraine.
